I’ve decided to start a blog to share some of my research with the rest of the internet. I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and my research looks at post-communist politics, in particular at the way post-communist countries have dealt/are still dealing with their communist past. This process goes under the umbrella term of Transitional Justice, and it is something that affects not only Eastern and Central Europe, but virtually every society coming out of a period of authoritarianism or violent conflict.
Most of my interests are too arcane to bother my facebook friends with, so starting a blog seems like a great outlet! For those of you that are interested in finding out more about my work, here is my academia.edu profile.
